I have received a ton of questions lately about providing resources and education for other photographers (mentoring, editing videos, etc). I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that others like my work enough to ask me to show them how to do what I do; it's incredibly flattering, and that's definitely understating how humbled I feel. I'm really passionate about helping others document whatever season of life they're in, regardless of how messy or ordinary it feels; it's about so much more than pretty pictures, you guys. One day, these moments + these details will just be memories that get a little foggier as time passes on. Photographing them helps preserve them, not only for you, but for your family. So whether you're just picking up a DSLR because you want to take better photos of your littles or you've mastered manual a while ago and want to work on editing or trying some new creative techniques, I want to help.
Anyway! I figured I could start small with a quick editing video + see how that goes? The password to access the video is: kingjack. Let me know your thoughts + if there is anything else you would like to see/have questions about! Maybe we could make this a weekly thing on the blog? I'm an open book + I'm happy to share whatever knowledge I may have. :)
Hope you find this helpful!
